My squiggly hairdo

Mum was practicing one of her favourite old do's from Poppy days on me, and it worked. Wahoo, I must admit I do look pretty damn tute.

Cullinary skills are developing

Poor old mummy was feeling like a real victor (aka victim) on her birthday, so me, Pops and daddy broke out the big guns and decorated a sponge cake for her. My favourite, strawberries - me and Pops nicked all the strawberries off the top and ate them in great delight.

My hair fits in piggies

Here I am soaking up the sun from my favourite poss'ey in our loungeroom.

Someone took my dummy

I have a real fondness for my dummy, so when someone nicks it, I don't get mad, I get FURIOUS!

In training for this grown up toilet business

I'm trying, but we're not quite there yet with the toilet thing. I like the colours in my little toilet helper, but as far as using it for anything other than a play toy, no way. In fact, I was having a bath just tonight, it was nice and warm with a mineral soak mum put in, and my older sis joined me too. It was so relaxing ... arrrgghhhhh ... I was starting to ...

Well put it this way, sis didn't like the fact I invited Mr Hankey to join us too. She screamed, leapt out of the bath in fury while I watched dad fetch it out with his bare hands. Poor dad, looks like he's going to have to get me on this potty a bit more often! :)

Flower girl in full bloom

Here I am fulfilling my honorary flower girl duties, i.e. being extra super-duper with sprinkles on top, cute!

Cupcake eating flower girl

It was my Aunty Moaney's wedding in Adelaide at the end of April and I got to be flower girl. In the middle of my walk down the aisle, I decided to plonk down on the red carpet and
throw my little flower petals out onto the floor in front of everyone. Me and my big sister wore matching roses in our hair and big Pavlova wedding frocks. In this photo, Marco's mum had just given me a cupcake and I sat down to start attacking it.

My broken arm too ...

I went to the hospital with Pops this morning to have her broken arm fixed, and you'd never believe what I did. I got myself wedged in between some glass sliding doors and decided to break my arm too, same side in exactly the same place as Poppy. But so far it hasn't bothered me - mummy said to say 'Cheese' in this photo and that's exactly what I did! Mummy and daddy couldn't believe it, but me and Pops like to do things together. At least I don't have to play dress ups to be like her now, I've got the real mackoy!

The hair bear

Poor old dad was trying desperately to have a lay in, but mum has just started work again, so I thought it was my responsibility to shake him awake. How could he possibly get mad at a face like this!

Me and my nanny

Here I am hanging out with my Nanny Lizzy just before Christmas 07. We took her for fish and chips at Mackara Beach about 30mins drive from Wellington.

That's the south island you can see in the background. On a clear day, you can see it very well. Nanny Frizzy is a bit wind blown - her hair gives away the strength of the wind that day!

What a little princess

Here I am in my new dress from Nanny Lizzy taking a stroll through Karori wildlife reserve in Wellington. We spent a lovely day looking at the birds, going for a big walk and having a picnic.

Guess who's walking?

I am! Yeaaahhhhhhhh! It's taken a little while, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. I am taking upto about 20 steps in any one go and mummy and daddy think it is so cute. In this photo, I was rewarded with a little peppermint magnum after a terrific effort from my bedroom, down the hall and into the dining room. Did I ever mention how much I reckon ICE CREAM ROCKS? If I knew peppermint magnums existed before, I would have walked straight out of mummy's tummy!

The view from Mt Victoria

Mum, Dad, Pops and I took a leisurely 20min walk to the top of Mount Victoria last Friday, when we had a day of sunshine and no wind. Yes, it does happen occasionally in this city. And when it does, it's absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. This is about a 20min drive from our house in Wellington.

Who's that baby?

... because whoever she is, she's really, really cute! My latest success is saying 'bye-bye' perfectly and waving when I do it! I went to the zoo today and said 'bye-bye' to all the animals whenever I turned to leave them. My favourite was the monkeys and I imitated their 'eee, eee, eee' for mummy and Poppy.
