Daddy wasn't slacking off

I thought daddy might get into a bit of 'hot water' (mummy says that's putting it nicely!) over this picture. Sometimes he lets me feed myself because he's busy killing enemies on the computer.

OK, it's not that often. But
as you can see, I've got it all under control.

We are going to be flower girls

I have some exciting news. My Aunty Moaney is getting married to Uncle Marco and me my big sister are going to be the flower girls. We are heading off to Northern Italy next Christmas for a bonanza! Poppy and I thought we'd practice our important jobs by getting all dressed up in white and pretending we were angelic! We've got 12 months to get it right!

More good news. I went to my lovely pysiotherapist today (Paula) who did a milestone check to see that I'm meeting all my physical milestones OK. Sometimes bubbies like me who escape early have some developmental problems. But so far, so good. Paula said I was even doing more stuff than was expected of a bubby of my age. I caught mummy saying something about cloud nine but I don't know what she's talking about!

Take that mousey

My nanny Lizzy bought me this little mouse from Westmead Hospital when I went in there last week (17th Oct) for my test. I have taken to biting her, eating her feets, and having a snuggle when it's time for me to have a sleep. The best bit is she doesn't bite back!

Good news! When I went to sleep for my little operation, Professor Gibson (the world renowned hearing guru) was able to stimulate my auditory nerve which is a great first step. It means that if I were to be implanted with a bionic ear, the sound would travel to my brain and I would be able to hear.

There are a few more tests I have to have before it is certain I will be implanted. On Friday (27th Oct) I am having a CAT scan and MRI to make sure all the bits and pieces are in the right place inside my little noggin. If everything is there and working OK, mummy will start talking surgery dates. Ooohh, how exciting but scary all at the same time! It could be as soon as before Christmas time. I bet mummy never thought she'd ask for this kind of Christmas present!!
