Easter present for mum

I may be a teeny weeny baby, but nothing was going to stop me getting a present for mummy and daddy on Easter morning. When everyone was fast asleep, one of the nurses helped me ink my tootsies and stamp them on this little poster. Mummy thought it was the nicest Easter present she has ever received, so I don't know why it made her cry ... ???
Rainbow bright

I'm 4 weeks old today and have finally got chubby little cheeks. I'm now 1518grams and my mummy and daddy are very proud of how well I'm doing. I'm still only little though, you can see my head fits snugly in the palm of daddy's hand. Mummy thinks I look like Rainbow Bright because of all the happy colours in my little home. I've just had dinner in this photo - 23mls of milk and I'm a little drunk.
My temporary home

This is my cosy little home for the moment. I'm hooked up to the monitors on the shelf, and every time I do something untoward, like let my oxygen levels drop, the monitors start to beep.
My mummy doesn't like it when I make music for her, but every time she comes in, I make sure I give her a little show! Naughty me ... he he he

A kangaroo cuddle

This is what the nurses call a kangaroo cuddle. It's when I lay on my mummy or daddy's bare chest, skin to skin, so I can hear their heartbeat. Not only does it help us bond, but it is proven to have amazing healing benefits like improving my heartrate and oxygen levels.
It also reminds me that I have a world outside of my humidy crib, with a mummy, daddy, sister, nanny and grandpa, uncles and aunts who love every tiny incy wincy bit of me.
Me and my mum

Have I already mentioned how much I dig hanging out with my mum? A little bird told me that mum really digs it too!
Oooh I can't wait to come home just to hang out, although I fear I am never going to escape the masses of cuddles that mum, dad and Poppy are going to shower me with. Could be worse! :)
All dressed up ...

I gradually built up to not needing it anymore over 10 days, and I breathed the biggest sigh of relief when I kissed it goodbye. Fingers crossed I won't need it anymore at all. You should have seen me the last couple of times the nurses put it on me when my mum was around ... I was a tyrant and managed to pull the little nose prongs out relentlessly.
Hey, notice my pj's and bedding match! Us babies are stylish around here!
