All dressed up ...

Hey Nanny Lizzy, this is what I look like all dressed up. But more importantly, check me out ... I've got my headgear off and I don't look like a mini football player any more! Yippee! Oh I can't tell you how good it feels. It's Day 3 today without it being there, and I feel like a new woman.

I gradually built up to not needing it anymore over 10 days, and I breathed the biggest sigh of relief when I kissed it goodbye. Fingers crossed I won't need it anymore at all. You should have seen me the last couple of times the nurses put it on me when my mum was around ... I was a tyrant and managed to pull the little nose prongs out relentlessly.
