Happy and sad news

Well the goods news is that I'm no longer on oxygen. How ironic is this - I ditched it the day I was due, the 15th June. So there is no more tripping on cords for mummy or daddy. Here is a picture with my Nanny Lizzy a couple of days after my 'graduation'.

The very sad news for my mummy and daddy is that I was diagnosed on Friday 23rd June with a severe to profound hearing loss in both ears. They don't know why yet - mummy and daddy say they are entering a whole new battleground.

Anyways, I don't know any differently. I'm just a happy, regular little kid who loves cuddles, sleeping with mummy and my milk. I am going to Hearing Australia in one week to be fitted with hearing aids. Maybe it will help me hear, and maybe it won't but this is the first step in a very long road ahead. One thing I know for certain is that this won't make mummy and daddy love me any less, rather, all the more!
