A bewdiful little bandaged bear

Hello to all of my friends and family. My operation went particularly well yesterday (Thurs 14th Dec) and here I am a short while afterwards recuperating in my mummy's arms. My doctor said they tested the implant while I was still asleep, and it works beautifully. Mummy and daddy were ecstatic.

I am going to have to wear this bandage until Saturday, at which point I can take it off and start scratching my head again! Mummy's got my little paws covered so I can't pull the bandages off and it's really bugging me. Better than having splints on my arms though, which is what I originally had to stop me pulling at them.

I have to let the incision heal and then I get "switched on" over two days (10th/11th Jan) which means I will finally be able to hear. Wahoo! I don't think anything Santa brings will be quite as good as this.
