Soraya's first time in the snow

Hi everybody, I've just moved to New Zealand. In this picture I am with mum and big sis on Whakapappa (the Wh is pronounced 'F' - mummy and daddy had no end of enjoyment with that one!), a skifield about 3.5hrs from Wellington where we are based. I've never seen or touched the snow before, so it was a pretty exciting moment for me. The wind was so cold, it nearly blew my poor little nose off.
I've settled in really nicely here. We are staying in a serviced apartment until 5 Sept and then we move into a big house, where we expect lots of visits from our family and friends.
My speech is coming along terrifically. I have so many words in my vocabulary now including mummy, daddy, ball, teddy, bubba, cough, hot, roll, drink, etc. I am mimicking all the noises I hear and have many animal sounds in my repertoire too. Mummy and daddy are so proud. And the journey continues ...
